Ramesh has had over 20 years of experience of facilitating, training and giving keynote speeches. One of the distinguished factors about Ramesh is the difficult situations he had a chance to cross. With his parent's bankruptcy during the Asian Financial Crisis in 1997, Ramesh had to interrupt his academic training in California and return home to start work.

Dr. R. Theyvendran, PBM - better known as Denan is the Chairman and owner of the Stamford Media International which was selected as one of the top 50 Enterprise Companies in 1996 - and again, in 2000.

 

He owns and manages Stamford Press Group, which has a total workforce of 100 employees with an annual sales turnover of more than 15 million dollars. He has business ventures in England, Australia, India and Sri Lanka.

 

Denan is also the Management Consultant of Aequitas Management Consultants Pte Ltd, specialising in personnel recruitment, human resources development and industrial matters.

 

Denan is currently the Secretary-General of the Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS), one of Singapore's premier Management Training Institutions.

 

He is the Chairman of the 42,000-member-strong Telecoms Credit Co-operative (TCC) with assets totaling nearly S$75 million.

 

Denan was appointed 2nd Deputy Chairman of Singapore National Co-operative Federation (SNCF) in 2008.

Elected on Thursday, 24th April 2014 without contest as Chairman of Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce (SICCI).

​

At the 1998 Singapore National Day Awards, he was conferred the prestigious Public Service Medal (PBM).

As advisor, Denan provided a dynamic strategy to financially turn around the Singapore Statutory Board Employees Co-operative Thrift and Loan Society (SSBC). The Society honoured him with the Master Strategist Award in 2004 for his extraordinary contributions.

Tiam Teang joined the Toastmasters movement in 2005, and has since been serving as an officer at club, area, division and district levels. Tiam Teang currently serves as the District Director of Toastmasters International District 80.

 

Tiam Teang was a successful entrepreneur with business interests in management consulting and training, as well as elderly care management services, in both Singapore and Malaysia. He sold all his businesses in 2007 and retired from active business, has since focused on his passion for financial investments.

Madam Ho holds a BA in Political Science and Economics from the University of Singapore and a Masters of Science in Asia Pacific HRM from National University of Singapore. She is currently the CEO of Human Capital (Singapore) (HCS), the national accredited continuing executive education center for human capital and people managers.

 

She started her career in the HR Department of Singapore Institute of Standards and Industrial Research (SISIR), a statutory board. Her experience spans both the private and public sectors. She had worked in private organizations such as UOB, Minolta and Hyflux. She had also worked in government-linked companies such as CIAS and SIA. Madam Ho had consulted for various international companies such as China International Intellectech Corporation (CIIC), PT Astra International and the Oman Ministry of Transportation, as well as the Lion Group of companies in Malaysia.

 

Besides her corporate engagements, her track records include her public service and service to the HR profession: Elected Member of Parliament; Secretary as well as Vice Chairman of the People's Action Party (PAP) Women's Wing; Deputy Chairman of the Government Parliamentary Committee for Manpower as well as a Member of the Government Parliamentary Committees for : Education; Finance; Trade & Industry; Law & Home Affiars; Elected President of Singapore Human Resources Institute (SHRI); Elected President of the Asia Pacific Federation of Human Resource Management; Founded the Singapore Professionals and Executive Co-operative (SPEC) and now serves as Deputy Chair; Was appointed as Chairman of the first Manpower Skills Training Council for Human Resources (HR); Was on the Board of Home Nursing Foundation for 14 years.

In the course of her career, both in parliament and at work, she has been involved in strategic planning, organisational development and development of employees beside strategic and operations HRM. She was also involved in the review and revamp of HR systems and processes as well as project management and change management. Her 38 years of experience and expertice in people management and business operations have enabled her to value-add human competitiveness to business and operations excellence in various Multinational Corporations (MNCs) and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore and overseas.

She is also currently an Adjunct Professor of School of Human Development and Social Services, Singapore Institute of Management (SIM) University. Mr. Nathan has more than 30 years' experience in the fields of Management, Strategy Formation, Manufacturing, Marketing, Sakes, Customer Service and Business Development. As Head of Marketing for the Asia Pacific and Europe, he has travelled widely and conducted business with people of different culture.

 

Mr. Nathan has a great passion for training. For the past 12 years, he has trained people from Multi National Companies, Government Bodies, Service & Retail Sectors, Charitable Institutions and Schools. Besides training, Mr Nathan is also an experienced MBA and Law Lecturer. In January 2017, Mr Nathan received the CSC Associate Excellence Award (Training) from the Civil Sevice College.

 

Mr. Nathan possesses a MBA in International Business, which he graduated with a Gold Award. He is also a qualified Barrister-at-Law (Lincoln's Inn, London) and holds a Bachelor of Laws Degree (Honours). His other qualifications include WDA's Advanced Certificate in Training and Assessment, Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management and Diploma in Management Studies.

 

Mr Nathan is serving, and has served, in various community bodies like WDA's Training & Adult Education Manpower Skills and Training Council (TAE MSTC), MCYS/MFS Board-of-Visitors, WINGS Counselling Centre (under NCSS), Lions Club, School Advisory Board and Ramakrishna Mission Boys' Home.

 

Mr Nathan's life-story was featured in a half-hour TV program on how he overcame life's adversities. He also appeared in Channel News Asia during the Up Close with the Minister program. His achievements were featured in various newspapers like the Straits Times and Tamil Murasu. He was also featured in the National Radio 93.8 Live "Slice of Life" Talk Show. In line with Singapore's 50th Independence Anniversary, he is featured in 50faces.

 

Mr. Nathan strongly believes that training should not merely focus on upgrading skills and knowledge but also inculcate character-building and life-long application of the knowledge and skills acquired. Hence, he weaves his wide practical work-experience and personal life-experiences into his training programs.
